Early morning wreck in Arab sends one to Marshall North
ARAB, AL: Emergency responders in Arab responded to a wreck with reported entrapment just before 8 a.m. Monday morning.
On arrival, firefighters found a small car had struck an 18-wheeler that was stopping for a red light at the intersection of US Highway 231 and 7th Ave NW, near McDonald's.
A quick assessment of the scene revealed that the driver of the car was not trapped however she did sustain non-life threatening injuries.
Arab Fire Department transported the driver to Marshall Medical Center North for treatment.
Arab Police are investigatinig the cause of the accident.
