Marshall Co. man charged with assault of elderly woman | News
CULLMAN, AL (WAFF)- Cullman Police said they have a suspect in custody in connection with the attack of an elderly woman.
Police said they arrested Emmett L. Davis of Marshall County Tuesday night and charged him with first degree assault, but investigators said they're still trying to determine a motive.
87-year-old Helen Mayo was attacked at her Cullman home Monday morning. She is recovering at UAB hospital.
